Cultural-Heritage Centre Open Day – Sunday 11th May 2014

Thirteen months on from the beginning of the restoration project of the Church of Ireland building, it has now been transformed into a beautiful & comfortable building ready for use by the various community organisations. It will be open for viewing next Sunday, 11th May at 4 pm. The new Cultural/Heritage Centre consists of main hall, Kitchenette, Store, Wheelchair accessible & disability toilets on the ground floor area, there is a mezzanine floor area consisting of a Training room and office. The upper tower is dedicated to our resident bat species which can be accessed by a louver window. The building is wired for Internet, Wi-Fi and sound systems suitable for training programmes, concerts, community activities, meetings, etc. All of this has been made possible by a sizeable LEADER grant through Clare Local Development Company (CLDC) and generous community support.

Please come along for a viewing of the building, a cup of tea and a chat on Sunday afternoon, all welcome.
