Imecofarm is the first Renewable Energy and Eco Centre in Ireland.
It has received a lot of local and also national interest with RTE televising it on Higher Ground”, as one of 8 top new business ideas out of 120 new star up business’s in Ireland. The Farmers Journal have printed articles twice, including a full 2 pages on imecofarm in September 2010.
Both the Clare Champion and The Clare People, have also covered
progress on Clarecastles imecofarm on several occasions, and Eddie Connors, founder of imecofarm, has a fortnightly column in The Clare Champion, giving advice and information on Renewable Energy to the people of Co. Clare and beyond.
