Festival 2010 Football Blitz We had a very successful blitz of 4 teams as pictured with Cratloe emerging winners despite drawing in a very  exciting game with ourselves Kilmurry/SMB.We started with a narrow win against the  Kilkishen and Naomh Eoin/O Curries pulling back a 3 point deficit to draw our last game. Thanks to all teams who competed esp.the peninsula side. Medals and refreshments provided by Festival. The Sheedy cup presented by Pa Hassett and Mayor Ml Sheedy. The Annual Harvest Festival Golf Competition was held in Walton Lodge on Saturday 21st August. The weather for the event was beautiful and the course was in excellent shape. Although attendance was lower than in previous years, those who participated had a very enjoyable day. Mike Sheedy wins the Mayoral Election 2010	Harvesting fun in the Kilmurry Sun Emer Connolly THREE local characters will vie for the title of ‘Mayor of Kilmurry’ during the local annual harvest festival which gets underway on Sunday. This is the 10th annual Kilmurry Harvest Festival and it will run between Sunday, August 15 and Saturday, August 21. Read More......

	FESTIVAL QUIZ NIGHT... The winning team (Sinking Fast) were Mary Corbett, Hazel Touhy, Joe Brady and Jimmy Conlon. The had top score with 80 points out of a possible 80. The runners up were "The Professors" with 77 points.
