Noel Brings Pedigree Heifer Draw to Successful Conclusion.

In February 2013 Noel approached the School Board with an idea to assist with the School Extension Fundraising Project.

He proposed to raffle a Pedigree Limousin Calf (with surrogate cow). At first it took a bit of explaining to see what was involved. Once all was clear the board then instructed Noel to see how feasible the whole thing was and so the journey began.

There was lots to do so Noel got to getting a team together to help out.

Tasks included printing tickets and posters, advertising and most important of all distributing and selling tickets.

No stone was left unturned to sell the 750 tickets. Every mart and social gathering from Kilmurry to Timbuktu was covered. Sure even the winner is in Australia….

So a big thanks goes to everyone involved in this venture especially those that put their hands in their pockets…

Thanks Again…

Also in the photo are Clare hurlers Seadhna Morey and Colin Ryan who assisted with the draw.
