The Rural Broadband Scheme has been lauched by the Dept of Comunications, Energy and Natural Resources. The Scheme which is EU Funded, is designed to make basic broadband services available in rural locations which are not serviced by current Internet Service Providers.

You can also apply by post using the application form on the website or by phone on 1850 678100 or 01 6782020.
Please note the closing date for applications is 29th July 2011.
