THERE’S a little more than a month to go before the 2012 Soap Box daredevils hurtle down Rossroe Road at breakneck speed.
Its time to get into your shed and getting the paint out as you prepare for this year’s Soapbox Derby on Sunday August 26th at 7pm.
Organised by Alan O’Callaghan several teams are expected to take part and there’s going to be some tough competition.
“You have to have brakes and steering”.
We do scrutinise for that it’s very important for safety reasons.
The derby is open to anyone aged 12 or over and whether you are a soapbox veteran or first-timer, technical advice can be given ahead of building your cart for the speedy race .
