This years 10k is an Athletics Association of Ireland (A.A.I.) approved event with the course accurately measured.
The local athletic club, BMOH athletic club are providing pacers for the 10k to help support athletes who wish to target specific times, i.e sub 40/45/50/55/60 mins.
The course is a nice fast course on closed country roads with a good running surface. Ideal if you are going for a P.B!
Prize money for 1st/2nd/3rd Male and Female.
Also prize for best fancy dressed runner.
A 5k Fun Run/Family walk will also take place, so we invite everyone to dust off their walking shoes and come out and join us for what promises to be a fun filled evening!
Face painting for children.
Tea/coffee and refreshments will be in the Community Hall afterwards.
The water for the water stations (200ml bottles) is kindly sponsered by The Pumphouse Bar, Kilmurry.
