With the switchover to the Irish terrestrial Digital TV Service to happen this month (24TH OCTOBER) its reckoned that 30000 homes who receive the Irish TV channels exclusively via aerial won’t have switched to Saorview.
Most of these are seen to be the elderly..

The easiest way if your TV isn’t Saorview compatible is to upgrade it but this does have a substantial cost.
The other option if your TV isn’t Saorview compatible is to is to add Saorview approved box to your TV.If you live in the area and have a good RTE/TV3 analog picture currently then you should be OK to switch over…
