The perfect weather and 13 keenly contested matches provided a great days golf in the first (and definitely not the last) “Parish Ryder Cup” competition between Sixmilebridge and Kilmurry.
The competition was close all the way through with the advantage changing sides on several occasions but the Bridge team held out to produce a one point victory.
Well done to all who took part and to the organisers of the event.
A special thanks to Kevin Wallis, Ian Mulready, Bobby Deegan, Billy O’Sullivan, Martin Breen and Ed Crowe who made the day possible.
