Santa Claus Switching on Christmas Lights.
On Sunday December 08th Santa will visit Kilmurry for the switching on of the Christmas Tree lights. Kilmurry will be transformed into a hive of activity as locals gear up for the lighting of the Christmas tree.
Christmas carols and songs will be performed to welcome Santa in his sleigh to the village..

All the local children turned up to see santa who took a break from making toys to come to Kilmurry to tun on the Christmas Lights.
Santa also took time to talk to the children and give out sweets and presents before he headed off on his Sleigh back to the North Pole.
A “Buy A Light on the Tree” raffle was undertaken on the night with all the funds going to the Multiple sclerosis Society.

Nothing marks the beginning of the magical holiday season like the lighting of the Christmas Tree beside Kilmurry Church.
On Saturday December 10th, 2011, we are going to have our annual tree lighting, and we’ve even lined up a visit from the man himself, Santa!
Bring the whole family down for something truly special.
We will have gifts, fun, hot drink and singing. At 7.30pm, Santa visits will take place and we will light the tree there after.
