Clare will play Limerick next Saturday under lights in their Waterford Crystal quarter final.

The match has been fixed for 7pm in O Garney Park and will be the first of two meetings between the sides in february as they also meet in the
National League opener on the 25th of February.

Clare claim All Ireland Intermediate Hurling Title (ClareFM)

Clare have been crowned 2011 All Ireland Intermediate Hurling Champions.

The Banner side fought off the challenge of Kilkenny to claim the spoils at Semple Stadium in Thurles this evening.

After a rocky start and a goal and 2 points down, Darragh Keane scored the crucial goal 15 minutes in to put Clare back in the game.

At half time the Banner side lead by  1-8 to 1-4 and maintained the upper hand for the remainder of the game to run out 2-13 to 1-11 winners.

Best of Luck to SMB Hurlers in the All Ireland Intermediate Final 2011.

The parish will be represented by John Fennessy, Shane Golden, Niall Gilligan, Tony Carmody (Capt), Derek Fahy, Paidi Fitzpatrick and Tadgh Keogh.
